I contacted Creative Homestylers regarding some decorating challenges in our great room that I just could not seem to figure out on my own. The room has a corner fireplace and 10 windows, which makes furniture arrangement difficult. Every placement of the furniture I attempted looked awkward and uncomfortable. The space looked unfinished and somewhat stark. Karli listened to what I perceived the problems to be and then asked some very thought provoking questions as to how my family wanted to use the space. In just one day, Karli was able to transform the space into a wonderful room for the whole family to enjoy. The children now have an organized space for their toys and we all have a cozy area to read, chat, play board games and watch television. Karli not only has a wonderful eye for furniture placement, but she easily handled lighting concerns as well as accessorizing the room using many things from other parts of our home. Our new house finally feels like home since we decided to get Creative Homestylers involved. Karli has a knack for making stuff you already own look like it was custom made and designed to sit exactly where she puts it! And if you give her a budget for new stuff, she'll search high and low and stretch your dollar to find the perfect complementary furniture and decorations. We shopped together for living room and dining room furniture, some pieces of art, and some other accessories. She spent lots of time with us getting an understanding of exactly what we were looking for while mixing in just the right amount of professional guidance. Then she ordered everything and came back to help us arrange it all. Finally, she helped us pick out some beautiful window treatments that tied everything together perfectly. I am so pleased with the room Creative Homestylers Just for Kids created for our newborn son. After consulting with Karli, she came up with some great ideas not only to decorate the room, but to create more space. I didn’t have any specific ideas in mind when we met, but Karli presented a wealth of ideas from themes to color changes. We decided on an animal safari theme and Karli had the terrific idea of choosing a border that not only is appropriate for a baby’s room, but will last him for years. I found the contractor she recommended to be both punctual and talented. Not only did he paint the room and put up the wallpaper border, but he created fantastic shelves that hold large baskets we use for both books and storage. The extra storage has been so incredibly useful not only for my son’s various rattles and stuffed animals, but also for my older daughter’s dolls and toys as well! Karli found some great accessories at reasonable prices both online and in retail stores. She kept me updated by contacting me often through the entire process. Karli has great vision for both color and space, and decorating seems to come naturally to her. After Karli did a redesign in our great room, my husband and I decided to work with Creative Homestylers Just for Kids on creating a new bedroom for our 4 year old daughter. We were moving her to an upstairs Cape Cod room with a sloping ceiling and we thought we would not be able to use some of her bedroom furniture. We were very disappointed as we had purchased the nursery set in the hopes of using it throughout her childhood, but the hutch would simply not fit. Karli had a wonderful idea to use the top of the hutch as a headboard for the bed and the bottom could then be used as a low dresser. Karli had wonderful ideas on how to position the furniture so it was both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Her help was invaluable to us as we had this wonderful blank canvas, but like so many people could not figure what to do with it!!! The room turned out beautifully! Karli has a wonderful eye for detail and was able to keep within our budget and help find the perfect accessories to compliment the space. Our daughter loves her “big girl” room. Karli helped to focus us on what we wanted for the room not just for this moment, but in the years to come. With minor changes along the way, our daughter’s room will grow and change as she does!
